Jennifer Seidel-Wash was born and raised, and currently resides, in Baltimore, MD. With Jen being part of a family who had started their own line of cosmetics (Linda Seidel’s Natural Cover, www.LindaSeidelpro.com) for people with disfigurements from burns, scars, birth marks, vitiligo, surgeries etc. 25 years ago, she is not a new comer to the cosmetic industry. Through her own trials and errors, years of experience, and a blessed talent in the arts, Jen has been able to hone her skills to perfection.
Jen graduated from Baltimore’s Von Lee School of Aesthetics in 1988 as an Esthetician licensed by the state of Maryland. Upon graduation she officially took her position in the family business, handling all aspects of running the company. Accumulating all that she had learned over the years, Jen gained the confidence to go on her own becoming a freelance makeup artist, portrait painter, illustrator, and muralist. She has since expanded her services to body painting, as well as becoming an educator/wholesaler for her mother’s company, Linda Seidel Cosmetics www.LindaSeidelpro.com - located in Owings Mills, MD in conjunction with Your Prescription for Health Wellness Center. Working with Thomas’s Hair Skin and Body in Glyndon, MD, Jen is able to offer a cozy atmosphere. Here she can also put to use her waxing skills and set up appointments for makeup applications, lessons, and trials for those in need.
Helping people achieve a particular look whether for weddings, a painting, corrective camouflage, theatrical, photography, video/film, or body art has allowed Jen to use her full spectrum of ability as well as energy. In Jen’s own words, “I just beam when I see how I have the ability to make others feel so happy with what I am able to do. I couldn’t ask for more!”
